Distributed Parking

  • Every citizen can register with his vehicle license plate
  • Parking tokens are pre minted and distributed to each registrant equally
  • The tokens are used to compensate someone to free his street parking spot
  • When someone is going to free a parking spot he declares that in the app and sets a timeout and location via GPS and makes a deposit in tokens
  • If someone is looking for a parking spot in that area he can declare interest and deposit tokens
  • The owner of the spot sees all cars interested with all their data - color, mode, license plate etc. He can monitor their movement on the map via GPS
  • When the owner sees the other car they can make visual signals and exchange their places
  • Everyone confirms if the exchange has happened and the corresponding token transfers are made
  • The tokens cannot be sold. They are used solely for peer 2 peer compensation
  • This model encourages drivers to register their cars in the city they live (no aliens)

P2P Improper Parking Reporting

  • When someone sees improperly parked vehicle he can report this with a special app
  • He takes pictures, writes down the license plate and type comments
  • The report can be confirmed by many parties
  • All parties deposit tokens for a bigger engagement
  • The violator has some time (days) to pay penalty in a form of tokens
  • If the penalty is not paid the report is sent to the authorities
  • They may require witness testimony
  • In that case reporters may give their testimony
  • If they prove their testimony by uploading documents they receive tokens
  • The tokens are given for free to registered reporters
  • The tokens are sold to those who need to pay a fine
