  • This astronaut reflects to us the progress that man may see in the future after knowing space more and more. Starting with the positive result that man may reach was the goal of that drawing. People want to see the success that has already been achieved.

  • In this piece the astronaut represents man watching the development of science over the ages in astonishment, as he wears the current space suit which is not developed at all to indicate our imagination and our astonishment with what we will discover and do in the future
  • We have drawn some roads around the planets to indicate that there will be life on the planets, glass domes which we will live in as well, and various means of transportation and others.

  • This is Hal Livson one of NASA's scientist who works on Lucy's mission
  • we used him as a speaker to the mission and to show our gratitude for his hard work and everyone who works with him in this project
  • We used the animated Lucy figures that NASA designed to represent their explorer machine

  • In this artistic painting, I imagined the Donald Johansson asteroid in the form of the fossil Lucy, which was discovered by the scientist Donald Johansson in 1974 in Ethiopia, and who died there 3.2 million years ago.
  • This fossil helped us a lot in knowing the past, thanks to the scientist Donald Johansson.
  • And this time, of course, the asteroid Donald Johansson will also help us learn a lot of information, but this time it will be thanks to Lucy .... I do not mean the fossil Lucy, but I mean the Lucy space probe, which will help us reveal many facts about the beginning of the formation of the solar system

  • The aim of lucy mission is to examine donaled and Trojan asteroids and analyze their components ,to know more about the structure of planets ,and origin of our solar system.
  • In this painting lucy is examining the asteroids and analyzing their components , some contains ice ,other contains metals and third contains new elements -hadn't been discovered before-.
  • The composition of the asteroids will help us know more about planets and helps scientists alot in putting new theories of formation of solar system -as clarified in next pianiting -.

  • This painting expresses our state as we think about the results we will get after Lucy's journey is completed.
  • If we try to imagine what Lucy will find in space and deduce how the solar system was in its beginnings, we can note, for example, that Neptune and Uranus are gaseous planets and there is a lot of water on them, so why not the beginning of their formation is the interaction of water with hydrogen and helium gas!
  • And since Venus and Mercury and Mars are rocky planets, why not have been formed by the collision of some rocks and minerals with some gases!
  • It's all fiction, but we'll know the truth after Lucy finishes her whole journey

  • In this work i have placed the asteroids in the order that Lucy will pass, and contrast between the sizes to illustrate the difference between them. I worked on the background to show the beauty of space and attract the viewer to try to see what the goal of the painting is

At the end of the mission..............

Our target from this project was to :

  • clarify science - in a simple way - using art.
  • mix art with science.
  • Express major scientific events and missions using a new technique -using art-.

And this painting shows that we mix art (using beautiful and colorful background) with science (using lucy).

Thank you.
