Process

  • After each level (presentation) a player can start the small game.
  • The goal is to check the knowledge received from the presentation.
  • The game contains few tasks of any type.

System of hints

  • There are 2 hints for every task.
  • If the player is stuck on one task, they can ask for a hint.
  • The 3d ask for hint will expose the correct answer.
  • If the player plays with timer there is a time limit. After time limit the hint will be exposed automatically.

  • Each player plays as solo player;
  • Each player is assigned the number of points;
  • The table is visible to all players.

  • Number of rooms = number of levels.
  • By clicking on the object Sam gets the task to solve.
  • Different objects in the room:

    • sanger sequencing machine
    • microscope
    • banana
    • etc.

Building a spaceport / rocket / staircase

  • Sam collects something from every level (e.g. parts of spacecraft)

  • At the end of each level Sam builds new part of rocket/staircase.

  • After all, Sam can leave Earth.

  • Sam misses his own planet but admires the Earth.

Team in the house

  • It’s awesome to find the key for the next room together with teammates!
  • Player cannot enter the next room alone.
  • Examples:
    • Every teammate has one part of the solution / question. It is possible to submit the right answer only collecting all parts.
    • Team in one room. Every teammate have the access to one task. Solving all task get the access to the next room to all team

peer-reviewed assignment

  • No more than 2 peer-reviewed assignments per 1 story.
  • Probably, the last assignment.
  • In this case the player will not lose the interest in the flow of the game.
