Problem & Target Users

The problem

Hospitals are big and confusing. Patients get lost finding registration, doctors, labs and pharmacy.

Who faces it

First-time patients, elderly people, families, and visitors under stress.

How they cope today

They ask staff or strangers, follow signs, and queue without knowing the wait. Missing: clear step-by-step guidance and a wait estimate.

Why it matters

Wrong turns delay care, crowd the desks and add stress. Easy to fix with a phone.

Ingenuity & Technical Decisions

Original idea

One token or QR scan gives the full visit path. No app install, no GPS.

Different from others

Maps only show places. Navitru guides the whole visit: steps, wait time, Hindi voice.

Key decision

Single-file web app with built-in demo data. Works online and runs on any phone.

Challenge solved

GPS fails indoors. We used QR start points and shortest-path routing on a floor map.
