Deshal often plays games online. In real life, he's never met this online "friend" whom he plays against.
But a player with a gamertag of Kane has been around for a long time, and he and Deshal message each other in the game all the time. Deshal feels like he knows Kane.
Kane has started giving Deshal lots of cheats and gifts in the game, and he says he wants to send Deshal some real gifts, so he asks for his address.
