Build your resume – college applications. Colleges like to see leadership activities, especially if they are related to your intended field of study of your passions
Personalized leadership role – timing is more flexible, although some sacrifice is still required
Professional experience- internships teach essential “soft skills” such as personal communication, teamwork, time management, and accountability. These skills are becoming more and more important in our world with the increasing development of AI. Colleges and employers are going to be seeking out candidates that have developed those soft skills. So this is a great opportunity to begin to build those.

What internships are offered at SV?

Service Learning with Mrs. Troy- work to oversee and plan all service related activities for the school

Campus Ministry with Mr. O’Smith - assist with school liturgies, retreats, morning prayers, family faith events, and service reflections

College Admission with Mrs. Hjort- assists with college visits, marketing, social media,and outward facing projects within the College Counseling program including the College bulletin board and hallway slides

Logistics and Operations with Mrs. Falvey - assists with planning events and logistics of the school, marketing, and leading a student team

Marketing with Mrs. Pedersen- assist in researching, planning, and executing marketing campaigns and events for internal and external audiences

Technology Production with Mrs. Falvey - assist in setting up and running the sound system, projector, and other technology equipment needed for events throughout the school year, including daily assemblies

Visual and Performing Arts with Mrs. Noonan- assist with social media and organization and marketing of all productions and events within the Visual and Performing Arts department
