Online Modules

  • Once scholars login and complete the 6-hour review, will they automatically get access to the test on their own.
  • Once scholars have viewed the videos the exam does not automatically pop up. It is listed as a separate section for them to complete. They then have to go to that section in their portal and click on that section to start the exam. Once they start they cannot stop.

I am CERTIFIED, now WHAT?

Students can register with TSBDE once they graduate from high school however the course and state exam are good for 1 full year.

So if someone took course in 9th grade, they would need to complete the course and state exam again once they are in 12th grade.

Congratulations on PASSING your Dental Assistant Certification Exam. Below you will find a simplified checklist of the items you will need in order to be licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant. Here is the link to the RDA application requirements. Please read ALL information.

CPR certification course will take place next. I will update you once I have more information. (Dentists and Dental Assistants in Texas are required to have a Healthcare Provider level CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.)

For now, focus on completing the Self-Query (info in the link above), taking your 2X2 photo, creating an account online, and begin looking into the actual application.

In the meantime...
