Mission Statement

“Helping to educate and mentor our student athletes into becoming successful members of our community.”

  • We want all students to be successful – not just in football. We want to mentor our players and give them the tools necessary to be successful in college and adult life.
  • We believe that developing multi-sport athletes is a key to a good athletic program.

Grant Coach’s Pledge

  • Grant Football Coaches will understand and fulfill the mission statement for the program and coach each player like they are their own son.

Speed and Strength Class

  • Required year round

  • U of O statistics since 1985: Players who complete year-round workout routines have an 85% chance of not being injured. Players who do not complete required workouts have 15% chance of not being injured.

Summer Workouts

  • Start Monday June 30th @ 7:30 a.m.
  • 7:30 am – 11:00 am (Var/JV)
  • Monday – Thursday (except week 1)
  • Every Week of Summer – Except OSAA Dead Week –July 28th – August 1st .
  • These practices are required and we strongly encourage families to work around our workout schedule. Other sport conflicts – Communicate.

Grant Youth Football Camp

  • Monday August 4th through Wed. Aug. 6th
  • 5:00-6:30 p.m.
  • High School Players and Coaches will work the camp.
  • Good Community Service Opportunity
