The Philosophy of Joy in the Book of Ecclesiastes
فرايت انه لا شيء خير من ان يفرح الانسان باعماله لان ذلك نصيبه لانه من ياتي به ليرى ما سيكون بعده (جا 3 : 22)
So I perceived that nothing [is] better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that [is] his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him? (Ecc 3 : 22)
ايضا كل انسان اعطاه الله غنى و مالا و سلطه عليه حتى ياكل منه و ياخذ نصيبه و يفرح بتعبه فهذا هو عطية الله، لانه لا يذكر ايام حياته كثيرا لان الله ملهيه بفرح قلبه. ( جا 5 : 19 – 20 )
As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor -- this [is] the gift of God, For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps [him] busy with the joy of his heart . (Ecc 5 :19 - 20)

عمله غم !
His Work Burdensome!
لانه ماذا للانسان من كل تعبه و من اجتهاد قلبه الذي تعب فيه تحت الشمس، لان كل ايامه احزان و عمله غم ايضا بالليل لا يستريح قلبه هذا ايضا باطل هو. ( جا 2 : 22 – 23 )
For what has man for all his labor, and for the striving of his heart with which he has toiled under the sun?, For all his days [are] sorrowful, and his work burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity. (Ecc 2 :22 - 23)
العمل من أجل الثروة أو الشهرة أو المقارنة = غم�Toiling for wealth, fame, or comparison = Burdensome
العمل (الخدمة) فى جو من الخوف = غم�Working (serving) in an atmosphere of fear = Burdensome
عمله غم !
His Work Burdensome!
العمل بدون محبة لمَن حولك = غم�Working without love for those around you = Burdensome
العمل دون أن تحب ما تعمله = غم�Working without loving what you do = Burdensome
عمله غم !

العمل (الخدمة) دون أى تحدي أو معنى = غم �Working (serving) without challenge or meaning = Burdensome
العمل (الخدمة) على حساب إيمانك / عائلتك / أصدقائك = غم�Working (serving) at the expense of your �faith/ family/ or friends = Burdensome
عمله غم !

كيف يفرح الإنسان بعمله ؟�How does one find joy in their work?
1- التمتع وليس المتعة
1- Enjoyment not Pleasure
حب ما تعمل وأعمل ما تحب �Love what you do and do what you love
فى الخدمة ... أنجح خادم هو مَن يحب نوع خدمته�In the ministry, the most effective servant is the one �who loves their type of service
اللذة = وقتيه ... سطحية / حسية ... قصيرة المدى�Pleasure = Temporary… Superficial/ Sensory… Short-term
التمتع = دائمة ... عميقة ونفسية ... طويله المدى�Enjoyment = Lasting … Deep and Soulful… Long-term

كيف يفرح الإنسان بعمله ؟�How does one find joy in their work?
الحياة بدون تحدى ... لا طعم لها (الرفاهية غير السعادة)�Life without challenge... is tasteless �(Luxury does not equate to Joy)

الإنجاز الصعب وليس السهل

Difficult achievement, not easy

النمو فى الحياة متعة إنسانية .. بينما الكسل وعدم المحاولة متعة غشاشة�Growth in life is a true human joy, while laziness and �lack of effort are deceptive pleasures

العمل السهل بدون تقدم او فائدة للغير لا طعم له� Easy work without growth or benefit to others is tasteless

القيمة فى العطاء
وراحة الاَخرين وخلاصهم
Value in Giving �And the comfort and salvation of others
الانانية (معنى ولا قيمة) = الغم �Selfishness (meaning, but no true value) = Burdensome

الشركة ممتعة .. والفردية مؤذية� Fellowship is joyful, while individuality is harmful
العمل مع مبادئ مسيحية شهادة .. وبدون مبادئ مسيحية أكل عيش� Working with Christian principles is a living testimony; �without Christian principles, is merely earning a living

اهتم بالفرح الروحى ولا تهمل الفرح النفسى� Care for your spiritual joy... but do not neglect your psychological joy
