Historically, 94% to 100% earn a high school diploma/CCMR.

54% of graduates attend a two or four year college in the first year after graduation.

About half of those students actually finish with a degree or certification in a high wage, high demand career.

  • Spring 2022 - 46% of students - 156 dual credit courses - 82% passing

  • FIRST® is a global nonprofit organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of life-changing youth robotics programs that build skills, confidence, and resilience
  • First Lego League (FLL), First Technical Challenge (FTC), First Robotics Competition (FRC)

  • Special emphasis on design, programming, construction, and “coopertition”
  • Multiple events occur throughout the season, ranging from local league meets to world championships
  • Annual costs range from ~$500 (FLL, 6-10) to ~$10,000 (FRC, 2 Regionals)

  • Hands-on design celebration that engages students through the lens of wind and solar energy
  • Student teams design, construct, and test small scale wind turbines and solar structures at events all over the world

  • A joint initiative by CEN, BCMA, Workforce Solutions, and Region 14 intended to expose students to realistic 3D printing applications through industry-driven competition
  • Given a challenge narrative (description of item to be designed and printed), students collaborate to model, execute, and present their design
