Accessing the EIC-Zenodo instance

EIC Zenodo repository is integrated with COmanage to enable your institutional account to be used to login into the instance.

To log in to the https://eic-zenodo.sdcc.bnl.gov instance you need to be part of the COmanage EIC-Zenodo group.

The procedure to include your institutional email account in the EIC-Zenodo group will be described in the next slide.

Registering to the COmanage EIC-Zenodo group

1. Send an email to cgamboa@bnl.gov requesting access to the repository. In the email please specify the institutional email you would like to use to log in to the repository.

• An enrollment invitation from registry@cilogon.org to join the EIC COmanage community will be sent to the email you specified in your request:

• Finish the enrollment process by following the instructions sent in the invitation email. Please make sure you are using the institutional identity/account you will use to access the repository (see next slide).
• Do not close the web browser until the registration is completed.

3. After you finish the registration you should be able to log in to the EIC-Zenodo repository. Please report to cgamboa@bnl.gov if you encounter any issues.

User will finish the enrollment process by following the instructions sent in the invitation email

In order to finish the enrollment process the user must make sure the institutional account that will be used to log in to the Zenodo instance is selected. For example by using:

Brookhaven National Laboratory - SDCC will use the Scientific Data and Computer Center identity

Open a webpage in Incognito (Chrome) mode or Private mode (Safari) to enforce the usage of the identity selection

In this example the Brookhaven National Laboratory - SDCC account will be authorized to access the Zenodo test instance

To log in to the EIC-Zenodo instance

Before you can log in to this instance your account needs to be authorized, for details please follow these instructions.

3. The user is authenticated and redirected to the eic-zenodo instance but, for this example, the account is NOT authorized so the user is not able to log in

On this example this BNL - SDCC account is NOT authorized to access the EIC-ZENODO instance. The user is not enrolled in the COmanage EIC-Zenodo group.
