Dollar Street for Data Science

Dollar Street has been an important part of our Data Science classes for kids grade 4-6 since day 1. Students collect data on occupations, biggest dreams, water and sleeping conditions, etc. by studying pictures of families at different income levels. Then we look at aggregated data to identify patterns and discuss actions. Teachers and students absolutely love it. Dollar Street is not only a great tool to teach kids data analytics, critical thinking, but also to help develop their social emotional skills.

Also big thanks to the teachers who are so devoted to the learnings of the students!
