Hate speech
An attack using any form of communication targeting a person or people because of a group they belong to -- race, gender, religion, ability, sexual orientation, etc.
What examples of hate speech do students describe in the video?
Why do they say people post hate speech? Do you agree?
A few students talked about the
effects that hate speech has had on them (e.g., “it makes me feel unsafe at school knowing that my classmates feel this way”).
