Previously, we used expiration time variable to:

  1. let a user token expire so they relogin
  2. check if user was active or not

​

This PR separated these two variables.

  1. Namespace preparation

Create dev & release namespace on dist.apache.org/repos/dist:

  • dev: repos/dist/dev/incubator/texera/
  • release: repos/dist/release/incubator/texera/

Create apache/texera repository on Docker Hub

  • Artifacts preparation

Artifacts included in v1.1.0-incubating:

  • source code tarball
  • docker compose tarball
  • 9 docker images

Each artifact will be built and come with signature and checksum

3. Voting procedure

We will start the voting process in dev@texera.apache.org

4. Wrap-up

If the voting result is approved, we will:

  • move the artifacts to release namespace
  • build and push docker images to apache/texera on Docker Hub
