Hi all! This is my third year teaching at Laurel Mill and my first year teaching second. I have two cats and a puppy that you will hear all about. I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Attendance Policy

Attendance will be taken daily one of three ways:

1. Students complete at least one daily assignment.
2. Students attend a Google Meets session hosted by a teacher.
3. Students log in to Google Classroom or Canvas to access teacher directions/assignments.

*Absence/Excuse notes will still be collected*

Chat responsibly. Use private comments if it is specific to your work.

Assignments will be posted weekly. Make sure you are in the right week.

Have a schedule.

Have a routine, take break.

Be smart online. Keep personal information private.

Be in the correct internet browser.

Check your assignments for private messages.

Check the class stream in Google Classroom.

Ask for help. Ask a parent or teacher for help when you don’t understand.

During Presentation

Wear appropriate clothing, sit up straight, be in camera view.

Chat Responsibly

Raise your hand to speak.

Type questions in the chat box.

Be in a Quiet Place

Find a quiet place.

Check your surroundings, no TV or music in the background.

Mute Yourself

Keep yourself on mute unless you have been called on.

Communicate Well

Speak Clearly.

Look up when speaking.

Stay on Topic.

Be Prepared

Computer is charged.

Camera is on.

Use headphones if you have them.
