CURIE prefix heterogeneity in chemistry is huge

Different communities often use different flavors of the same CURIE prefix. The PubChem compound database is an excellent example that shows huge heterogeneity.

URI prefix heterogeneity is also huge

Upstream integration of Bioregistry in OLS

  • Collaboration with EBI's SPOT team to use the Bioregistry to generate links in OLS
  • Trickles down to NFDI's terminology service

NFDI4Chem and NFDI4Cat Collection

  • Collection and multiple prefixes contributed by Philip
  • We'd love to see other NFDI consortia and Pistoia contribute their own ontologies and lists!

Bioregistry and FAIRsharing

  • FAIRSharing represents databases
  • Bioregistry represents semantic spaces
  • Sometimes these are the same, and sometimes not, like for PubChem, and ChEMBL
  • Bioregistry is automatically pulling from FAIRSharing, could be a resource for also keeping FAIRSharing better reflecting NFDI consortia
