Note:

  • Kevin and Yichen will see these requests (clomm@bsc.coop & clomm1@bsc.coop)
  • Your concerns will be addressed by either Kevin, Yichen or BSC Central Maintenance depending on the difficulty and what we are allowed to do.
  • Items will be addressed based on urgency, cost, & resources.
  • In addition to fixing things, we also welcome suggestions and proposals for making the house more accessible.
  • We do not provide paint/painting supplies.
  • Please be as specific as possible about the issue and include pictures, thank you!

Maintenance Emergencies & Clogged Toilets

  • If there is an ACTIVE MAINTENANCE ISSUE (e.g., active leak, windows breaking) which we were not aware of, please call the EMERGENCY NUMBER immediately instead of filling out a request.
  • If you clogged a toilet, please try plunging it first! If you do not know how to use a plunger, we can teach you.
  • PLEASE DO NOT THROW PAPER TOWEL OR ANYTHING THAT IS NOT TOILET PAPER INTO THE TOILET!!! I am sorry we have to emphasize this, but it has happened repeatedly.

Support and Resources

09

21 of 25

Be Cooperative!

  • We hope to not perpetuate the cycles of harm from other institutions
  • We should strive to support each other, this includes being mindful of what we say and how we might be saying it
  • Please ask for consent before asking any coordinator, or member questions.
  • We understand that basic medical supplies might be difficult to access so we have a medical cabinet with anything from bandaids, to condoms, to pads.
