Established Traditions & Special Programs

In the second semester, our students will take part in EXPLORA Family Night, Dr. Seuss “Read Across America” Day, and walking field trips to our local Mineral Museum at NMTECH, among others. We also have a partnership with NMTECH to provide mentors for our students in a special after-school program called MATCH. In addition, we are beginning a Computer Science Class, taught by a NMTECH student. The Computer Science Afterschool program is a part of S.T.O.R.M. Force, a NMT Outreach initiative. The program will focus on teaching the basics of computer science and computational thinking to the students.

In addition, we are including after-school tutoring for students needing additional interventions.
