I love art, music and movies. I enjoy long walks, dancing and reading. I love spending time with my husband, daughter and our Bernedoodle, Ernie. At school, I enjoy mentoring new teachers and being an active part of the Stark community.

My name is Mrs. DeSantis and I am so excited to be your Second Grade teacher. This will be my 32nd year of teaching and Stark is truly my second home. I am the proud recipient of the 2005-2006 Stamford’s Teacher of the Year Award, two Spotlight on Teaching Awards and a SPEF Excellence in Education Award. My daughter, Mia, is a graduate of Stark and is a Seventh Grader at Dolan. My goal is to create a calm, structured, and creative environment where students & families feel connected to the classroom community and engaged in the learning process.
