3D printing & AI focused curriculum

​

The curriculum is implemented through the following frameworks:

• Place Based Learning:Approach that uses a student's local environment as a foundation for learning
• Blended Learning: Method that blends online or digital components with in-person instruction.
• Project Based Learning: Students work on real-world projects to develop critical thinking and other skills

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have computers
• An area to install 1- 2 printers.
• Dedicating 3 hours a week for the program.
• Dedicating at least one teacher for the course.
• Teacher must commit to 2 hours of admin and logistics coordination for tech school.
• Teachers must show up on two days of the mandatory training.

TEACHER TRAINING

We train the teachers so they can lead the sessions. Teachers attend 2 full days of training on the curriculum at the monday.com offices

Following the training teachers will be able to:

• Operate and manage a 3D Printer
• Teach the foundations for 3D printing technologies and AI
• Execute the design briefs

EQUIPMENT

We empower each school with the equipment needed.

• We help schools set up a ‘tech school room’
• We donate two 3D printers to each school, and when needed we can also donate laptops

• Employees across the tech sector come and share their career stories with students.
• Immersive learning on career readiness, navigating the job market, diverse roles, and skills to build a strong network

INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP

• Build partnerships with departments of education across the US and industry leaders.
• Students will work on projects in collaboration with world renowned organizations such as Nike, Apple, the Black Panthers, etc

MAKEATHON

• We host an end of year makeathon where over 700 students in each site participate.
• Students will use the skills they have developed over the year for our final challenge
