What if it doesn’t meet the new Title IX standard?

If an incident doesn’t meet the new definition for a Title IX case:

Students can move the case forward through SRR as:

• Various Prohibited Conduct
• Concern for self and others
• Disruption of University Community
• Any other existing student code that may be applicable

Students will still be offered resources, supportive measures, a timely response/process

Role of Title IX Bench

• Bench members may be asked to serve as a Review Officer for an incident that doesn’t meet the Title IX definition; however, meets the PLU community standard of concern
• Dean of Students or Vice President for SL will serve as appeal officer
• Student Care Network Coordinator or Asst Dean of Students will serve as coordinator of the conduct process for these cases
