SENSORY ACTIVATION

Let’s activate our senses

  • Seeing
  • Smelling
  • Tasting
  • Drawing music (you’ll need paper and a drawing instrument for this)

Based on the process developed by Claudia Tordini of the Experiential Learning Lab

Allow your hand(s) to draw, following the music.

Don’t think. Just allow your hand to do what it does.

4. Bridge The Two Realities

Now that you have a sense of the problem space, find a way to move from the current state to the desired state. What is needed to transform the current perception to the desired one?

Examples:

  • If something is bitter, how might you make it sweet?
  • If the texture is rough, how might you make it smooth?
  • If the physical stance that expresses the current state is a rounded back and a hanging head, how might you shift your stance?

Play intuitively. Don't worry yet about solving the problem.
