This handout guides students and parents through the student seesaw login process and application features, and the families seesaw login process and application features.

How to Login to Student Seesaw Accounts:

Using a Mobile Device Application

OR by typing in https://web.seesaw.me/ on your internet browser

Step 1

Select “I’m a Student”

Step 2

Select “Google/Email Sign In”

Step 3

Enter Students HP Account.

Be sure to include “@stu.hpisd.org”

Step 4

Enter Student password.

Passwords are caplock sensitive.

Now your child is logged in.

You should see their homepage.

Downloading the Correct Application

from your Mobile Device App Store

Students will use the Seesaw Learning Journal application to interact with their teacher and learning activities.

The Seesaw Parent & Family application allows families to receive notifications when new student work is posted by their student as well as send and receive messages between families and the classroom teacher.

Getting Parents Connected to their

Child's Seesaw Account

If you are NOT connected to your Child’s Seesaw account you need to reach out to your child’s teacher, or the campus instructional technologist, to get the activation link emailed to you.

  1. Once the activation link has been emailed from your teacher/CIT, click the link.
  2. Choose your child's name from the list of students.
  3. Create your account.
  4. Once you are approved by your child’s teacher, you’ll get access to Seesaw.

Signing Out of Student Accounts

If you have more than one child at home who share a device, “child one” will need to log out of their account so that “child two” can log in.

Step 1: Click Student Name in Top Left Corner

Step 2: Click the Settings Gear

Step 3: Select “Sign Out”

Have “child two” follow the same login instructions previously used for “child one”.
