Orienting CCP to 30 x 30

Accelerate partner work

Ensure 30x30 is reached equitably

Build and maintain the partnership.

Accelerate partner work to help increase the rate of conservation by three-fold in order to help our partners reach 30x30 with the interim goal of protecting 2 million acres by 2025.

Identify the bottlenecks that are slowing down progress.
Identify and prioritize actions that CCP can take to help accelerate this progress to the magnitude needed.

Target partners that are doing the biggest landscape scale conservation and help them go faster.
Work to remove current bottlenecks.
Identify key actions to address the significant common needs among the partnership found at CCP annual meetings and partner discussions.

Identify and address emerging challenges and bottlenecks that could slow us down in the future

Ensure partners weave JEDI principles into land conservation and all our work wherever possible to ensure 30x30 is reached equitably.

Diversify CCP and lift up BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) leaders where possible to help accelerate the work.
Implement several key actions from the draft Public Health, Green Spaces and Equity Plan.

Build and maintain the Partnership to help accelerate equitable conservation

Housekeeping and maintenance of internal partnership lists, databases, and systems to ensure efficient communications and networking.
Partnership and relationship building.
Promotion and marketing of partnership and its services.
Customer service.
Ensure production of services that partners want and value.
Input and feedback gathering.
Evaluate establishing Steering Committee Advisory Committee(s) for tribes and/or representatives of under-resourced communities.
Develop and implement outreach and engagement strategies/actions.
