OUT OF 157,790 GAME PUBLISHERS, 4877 ARE INDIAN MEANING 3% OF ALL GAME PUBLISHERS ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE AND OUT OF 424,676, 17,206 GAMES ARE FROM INDIAN PUBLISHERS SIGNIFYING 4% OF ALL GAMES ON PLAY STORE. INDIAN GAME DEVELOPERS ARE NOT BOUND TO ANDROID DEVICES, THEY PUBLISH GAMES COMPATIBLE FOR IOS AS WELL, 15% OF THE GAMES PUBLISHED BY INDIAN DEVELOPERS ARE FOUND ON BOTH ITUNES AND PLAYSTORE. IT IS SEEN THAT ON AVERAGE OVER 40% OF INDIAN GAMERS SPEND ₹230 PER MONTH. THE PANDEMIC HAS HASTENED THE ORGANIC GROWTH OF DIGITAL GAMES, WITH MOBILE APP DOWNLOADS INCREASING BY 50% AND USER ENGAGEMENT INCREASING BY 20%.
