Why Google Slides in breakout rooms

Allows students to collaborate on a common surface without screen sharing
You can monitor breakout room work without entering all of rooms.

Identify which rooms you need to visit
Identify work you want to highlight in main room

Works well with Chromebooks (as opposed to the annotate feature.)
There is a record of what students write (history)
