Why Google Slides in breakout rooms

  • Allows students to collaborate on a common surface without screen sharing
  • You can monitor breakout room work without entering all of rooms.
    • Identify which rooms you need to visit
    • Identify work you want to highlight in main room
  • Works well with Chromebooks (as opposed to the annotate feature.)
  • There is a record of what students write (history)
