How our program will work

We believe that as a school we can prevent depression in teens in help them cope with it by having a support program here at PHS. We hope to have the following:

More counselors

    • to give attention
    • compassion/ advice
    • one on one help

Therapy Dogs

    • to uplift students
    • positive energy of an animal

Peer Counseling

  • peer counseling programs in the school
  • can make teens more comfortable talking about

what they are going through.

Support groups and peer counseling are going to be the most beneficial to our students who have stress and depression.
