The Vision of EOS Social Network Project

[Project Name] is focused on developing a feature-rich decentralized social network and marketplace hub built on the EOS blockchain. Project [name] will provide a secure platform for individuals, groups and business to communicate, while ensuring privacy of personnel data is maintained within the network and not accessible to third parties.

The project aim to develop a unique user interest profile, which will be maintained separately from the private user profile to maintain personal information security. The public interest profile enables users to gain access to business offers, product and service offers tailored to user selected categories and topics of interest.

The Platform also allows the users and groups within the network the ability to create bid requests for specific services and products (insurance, travel, leisure). This feature is useful to leverage economies of scale to obtain best pricing for local events, services and products. The feature can also be used to launch business offerings.

Social Networking on EOS

  • Features ability for Users or Groups to receive offers for Products and Services based on a user managed interest profile based on:
      • Product and Service Categories
      • Location
      • Date Ranges
      • Group Incentives
      • Time
  • Works on a Partitioned Public and Personal Private Identity Profile. The Private identity profile is available only to the individual user. Users may create several public or private identities on the Network, but the value of the identity is tied to the profiles activity on the network and connections to other users.
  • Ability to create a bid-based or negotiation based solicitation of offers on products and services from user-selected providers (Travel, Education, Insurance, Housing, Leisure)
  • Private profile activity is not exposed across the public social network blockchain. Users can choose to expose (or remove exposure) of specific information to specific products/service offer profiles. The offer profiles cannot be linked to public or private user profiles, which protects the identity of the users.
  • Users and Organizations can choose to share selected portions of profile with other parties for services on the network without exposing personal identity (may require smart contract deposits for services by both parties)
  • Rating System for Reputation of endorsing products and services to prevent bad actors

Value Proposition For Social Network Token on EOS Platform

Businesses purchase tokens for utilizing platform marketing service proposals and product listings to users.

Novel Based Marketing Concepts available for Businesses :

​

  • Community Stake of Services or Business Offerings in exchange for discounted Services or Products (Early stage endorsement)
  • Specific Marketing to target product or service group profiles for users interested in offers within the product or service category of interest.

Individuals use the Social Network Tokens to store their personal data profile securely on the platform. The personal profile and data are not available to third parties.

Individuals and groups can utilize the tokens to execute smart contracts with other users within the Social Network, and can also elect to propose or receive offers on products and services representative of a single user or offers applicable product group profiles within the social network.

Users may elect to “endorse” specific services by staking their tokens with goal to obtain additional rewards from businesses on the network (although this is publicly shown)

Developers can solicit proposals to the community and gain Social network tokens for completing community approved project initiatives. The compensation can also be performance based on network performance/ usage metrics of widgets or modules on the network
