RECAP: DELOITTE IMPACT DAY (6/5)

• HUGE THANKS to Connors dad Ryan McDevitt for organizing + hosting again
• ~30 volunteers worked in Connors yard on refreshing all playground paint from last year, fixing our soccer net, and repainting our school’s black gates in 90+ degree heat
• Deloitte is also purchasing two new adjustable basketball hoops for our gym
• THANK YOU also to Brushworks Painting + General Lumber True Value for their generous donations to this project for a second year in a row; to The Hive (Connors moms Kristin + Cat) for the iced coffee + Liza Kramer for the donuts for our volunteers
• The PTO is also helping to cover OOP costs for paint and supplies (above and beyond what Deloitte has generously been able to purchase).

K MOVING UP CEREMONY

• Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony:
• Date: June 16th @ 10am
• Location: Connors Gym
• Normal school arrival procedures at 8:15am
• Students welcome to dress in soft pastel colors
• Photos and light refreshments to follow ceremony.
• Students will return to celebrate with their class until school dismissal at 3pm.
• Students will receive special end-of-year gifts sponsored by the PTO!
• Guest Guidelines:
• 4 guests per family (does not include Connors siblings or “lap children” under 5 yrs old)
• Connors siblings attend automatically; pre-K siblings must be signed out per standard procedures
• RSVP here!

Volunteering With HPEF

• Our work wouldn’t be possible without our

incredible volunteers!

• Last month we celebrated the many parents, community members, and partners who lent their time and talents to support our schools this year.
• We’re currently looking to grow our volunteer team, with specific needs in communications, sponsorships, and IT.
• If you’re interested in getting involved and making a difference in our school community, we’d love to hear from you!

10th Anniversary Gala: Together, we raised over $310,000 to support programs and initiatives in the year ahead. As part of the evening, our Fund-a-Need campaign, Libraries Without Limits, exceeded its goal, raising $32k+ to bring mobile libraries to our schools!

�Libraries Without Limits addresses a critical gap: due to space constraints, 4 of our 5 district schools don’t have libraries (unlike 92%+ of public schools nationwide).
