What is a Digital Portfolio?

  • A collection of work
  • A portfolio that you can show employers
  • Artifacts that can be used for applications
  • A way to start your brand/business
  • Something you WANT to spend time on!

Your Digital Portfolio will...

  • Be completed in place of Unit tests
  • Be graded and revised throughout the semester
  • Be shared with me and the world!
  • Belong to you, and can be added to/modified for as long as you would like!
  • Be an outlet for your creativity and passion
  • Be what you make it

Step 3: Show what you know!

Instead of studying for tests and completing homework assignments, you will create something that shows your learning!

How do you earn a grade?

  • There will be deadlines for checkpoints in the class (1st blog due, design of page due, 1st comment left, etc.)
  • We will still have quizzes and projects to complete
    • Projects and anything you create in class will be uploaded to your site!
  • There will be time in class for you to work on creating your site
