If your child will be absent you can leave a message at (908) 789-0331 extension 1 and then extension 1 again. Leave a voicemail with your child’s name, grade and reason for the absence. You can also report absences by email at absent@garwoodschools.org.

​

In class we will sing Happy Birthday and I will give out a birthday crown, sticker, and a certificate.

You may send in goody bags with non-food items inside if you would like. They can be things like-

  • Stickers
  • Playdoh
  • Pencils
  • Coloring books
  • Pop its

Please do not send in any small toys that a student could potentially choke on. They will be passed out at the end of the day and opened only at home.

We also welcome a family member to come in and read to the class on their child’s birthday if they’d like!
