  • In 2022-2023, 56.9% of first year seminars had a library visit for course-integrated instruction.
  • Library integration into First Year Seminars is now back to pre-pandemic levels

  • In 2022-2023, ZSR librarians taught 44 sections of LIB courses, a steady increase over the past seven years

  • We reached 626 students with our credit courses in 2022-2023, a slight increase over last year.

  • Our LIB courses in the 2021-2022 academic year were 97.4% full, which aligns with our annual average of 97.2%.

Library Course Abroad!

  • Summer Krstevska led her second library course abroad.

  • Krstevska took 10 students to Norway, where they learned about how an idea can make a societal impact.

Critical Information Literacy

  • In the Spring of 2023, six RIO librarians collaborated to create and pilot two sections of a new course titled Critical Information Literacy.
  • Student feedback on the course was positive and it has been added to the Academic Bulletin and will be taught regularly going forward.

LIB100 Assessment Project

  • In the Fall of 2022, the LIB100 instructors revised the LIB100 pre/post assessment questions and re-piloted the assessment.
