Legal

ELT and the Board of Education: Will act as Deciders and hold ultimate authority throughout the process, including the right of final approval or veto. All major decisions will first be filtered through ELT, then the Board.

SLT, Legal, stakeholders, and the Lau IOC: Will act as Counsel and give advice within their area of expertise. Although Counsel are not Deciders, major decisions will not be considered valid without input from the Counsel.

Leadership Team: Will be Responsible for setting and adjusting the goals, strategy, and timeline for the development process. Provides updates to SLT, ELT, and the Board of Education throughout the process. Responsible for coordinating work and bringing a fully developed EL plan to the Board.

Lau Steering Committee: meetings will include time to also serve as the EL Plan Planning Team.
