- Hay que hablar con expresiones directas, evitando las locuciones negativas o frases pasivas.
The streets were cleaned in the morning
se convertiría, en GLOBISH, en
The workmen cleaned the streets in the morning.
In English
“I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors.”
In 'Globish'
I stand here today full of respect for the work before us. I want to thank you for the trust you have given, and I remember the sacrifices made by our ancestors.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours,
now and forever.
Amen.
This is the Lord's Prayer in the West Saxon dialect of Old English.Fæder ure Fæder ure þu þe eart on heofonumsi þin nama gehalgodto becume þin ricegewurþe þin willaon eorðan swa swa on heofonumurne gedæghwamlican hlaf syle us to dægand forgyf us ure gyltasswa swa we forgyfað urum gyltendumand ne gelæd þu us on costnungeac alys us of yfele.Soþlice.
Our Father,
Who comes to us from above,
Your name is holy.
Your rule will soon be here,
Your will will be executed, in this world, and in the above as well,
Give us today the food we need everyday,
And forgive what we do wrong
As we will also forgive the other persons who do wrong to us,
Do not lead us to have bad desires,
But, free us from all that is evil,
For your are the ruler of the above, and yours are the power, and highest honour for ever and ever.
Amen.
