Versus
The lower consciousness mind cannot perceive or discern the difference between genuine wisdom and fake wisdom.
There is no subjective qualia by which the differences can be ascertained.
Thus, each point of growth is a potential point of a meaningless side quest or disorientation.
Genuine and fake wisdom both involve diminishing the limbic urges and impulses of the human hardware frame.

The Apostle Paul did not visit Colosse according to the accounts in the Book of Acts. In fact, there's no mention of Paul ever traveling to Colosse in the New Testament. The Letter to the Colossians, which Paul wrote, suggests that he had not personally visited the city but had heard about the church there from others, such as Epaphras, who was a key figure in establishing the Christian community in Colosse (Colossians 1:7-8; 2:1).
Paul wrote the Epistle to the Colossians while he was in prison, traditionally believed to be in Rome. The epistle was likely written around A.D. 60-62, during this imprisonment, but it was sent to the Colossian church rather than delivered in person.
The "Prison Epistles" are traditionally understood to include the letters of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. These letters were written by the Apostle Paul during one of his imprisonments.

Context of Imprisonment:
These epistles are traditionally associated with Paul's first imprisonment in Rome, which is described in Acts 28:16-31. During this imprisonment, Paul was under house arrest but had a degree of freedom, allowing him to receive visitors and write letters. This imprisonment occurred after Paul’s appeal to Caesar and his subsequent journey to Rome (Acts 25:11-12; Acts 28:30-31).
Period during the Book of Acts:
The prison epistles are believed to have been written during the period described in Acts 28, specifically during Paul’s house arrest in Rome, which is mentioned at the end of the book of Acts (Acts 28:30-31).
After Acts 28:
The Book of Acts ends with Paul under house arrest in Rome, around A.D. 62. The prison epistles were written during this time. There is no mention in Acts of what happens to Paul after this two-year period, leading many to conclude that these letters were written during the final portion of the timeline covered in Acts, before or as Acts 28 concludes.

Notice the association and progression of attributes. Paul attributes “love” to them but does not yet seem to attribute wisdom to them. Love seems to be a prerequisite to wisdom. There is a progression of departure from the categorical, having-mode mind into love/charity, wisdom, and being.

Thus, each point of growth is a potential point of a meaningless side quest or disorientation.

The cognitive processes that make us most adaptive are also the same process which make us very prone and susceptible to self-deception.
Relevance realization is essential for the ability to focus on a task that is needful for survival. But relevance realization is essentially cherry-picked from the available environment. It is impossible to function in any way without this cherry-picking. So how do we know that we are cherry picking the right thing and ignoring the right thing. We really don’t, and it’s something that we’ve (humanity) learned about ourselves due to our inability to each artificial intelligence how to replicated it.
We can’t shut off these processes because they also make us adaptive. So, we must learn how to ameliorate the self-deceptive tendencies with ecologies of practices situated within a community and where the community is afforded traditional legitimacy in terms of a world view.
The aggregation and observance of such a complex array of practices has historically been humanity’s attempt at wisdom cultivation, and the structured approaches are mostly found in religion.
