  • Create VR application that renders large planetary terrains in VR using real data from NASA and other space agencies.
  • Simulate gravity and user interactions with the environment due to this element.

  • If Teleportation is not well implemented or limited, it’s better to have continuous movement
  • People prefer the simulation over the real versions.
  • Multiplayer is not easy to implement
  • People don’t move too much form their location event thought they have a whole planet to explore

What have I learned?

IDEAS FOR PROJECT 2

  • Finish multiplayer for current project?
  • Look for other astronomy datasets and put then in scene?
  • Some AR application ?
  • Porting old applications to oculus quest
