Room Representative

PTCO Lead: Rachel Murray

The PTCO Hospitality Committee proposes partnering with Adams teachers to identify a Room Rep for each classroom for the 2025–2026 school year.

This initiative could be introduced at the first Family Wednesday, highlighting classes that already have a rep and identifying those still in need of one.

Room Rep – PTCO PartnershipPTCO will work with teachers and the principal to determine appropriate times for Room Reps to support school-wide activities.

Potential areas of partnership include:

  • Monthly teacher lounge restocks (one grade per month)
  • End-of-year Staff Appreciation support
  • Sharing the PTCO activity calendar, including monthly fundraisers and enrichment events (e.g., STEAM Fair)

Next Steps

Hospitality Committee will be in touch the first few weeks of school with more information! Please reach out with any questions!

Increased this year to $5,000

Classroom Enrichment Fund

Purpose: To enable teachers and staff to enrich classroom experiences for our students through special projects and supplies that are not covered by the District School Supply budget.

  • Divide evenly per classroom like last year? (i.e. $5,000 / 12 classrooms = $412 per class)
  • Divide evenly per staff member?
  • Use as needs for classrooms arise?

Let us know!
