We are learning:

English & Language Arts: We will be continuing our Module in EL which is all about fossils and paleontologists. The students will be learning how to examine multiple choice questions and will be working on determining how characters respond to events in text. In Letterland, our spelling patterns during the week of Nov 30th will be -ee and -ea (beach, freeze, etc). During the week of Dec 7th, will be -ai, -ay, -oa, -ow. Don’t forget to practice the word pattern and not just memorize individual words :)

Math: We will working on telling time to the nearest 5 minutes. We will have many time games and activities!

Science: We will be working on our matter unit. We will completing a few virtual experiments to compare the different states of matter and why objects sink or float.

-PLEASE be sure that you are not assisting your child on iStation OR Dreambox (both on the practice and assessment). This is NOT used as a grade, but this is the tool that helps us group students based on academic need as well as qualify them for additional services from our intervention teachers.

-On Remote Learning days, we will have NO live instruction, but attendance will be taken based on completed assignments.
