Present continuous
The present continuous is used to express actions that are happening at the time we speak or write them. In its affirmative form, this tense will be marked by the verbs “am”, “is”, and “are”, followed by the main verb with the suffix “–ing”:
He is wearing a black T-shirt.
They are wearing yellow shoes.
