CAMPGROUND AND GATES
Milwaukee Tools
Each campground is issued a Milwaukee tool box. Inside the box is a list of tools that are allocated to your campground. These need to be returned each fall.
EXAMPLE
Paints and Cleaners
Each fall I receive the unused freezable paints and cleaners.
Upon Spring reissue, I will give your campground what is asked for in the Spring Requisition book. As the season progresses, you may requisition more as projects arise.
Plan your projects and determine amounts needed rather than just having too much on-hand that get returned each fall.
Below is a list of uses for each type of paint.

Notes about items within the Blue Totes
NARCAN-do not let freeze or it’s no good. It’s very expensive….
FIRST AID BAG-I go through the bags over the winter to make sure they are full and up to date, however it is your responsibility to request replacement items as they are used or expired.
AED-Pads and Batteries have been checked and updated where needed. Check the unit weekly to make sure the green light is flashing. This shows it’s ready to use without having to pull from its case. Pulling the battery to do the self check shortens the life.
CO DETECTORS-remove batteries before putting in tote.
COLD COMPRESSES-will be returned to CG each spring
RADIO-return each fall – Inreach and GPS handhelds should be returned as well.
RADIO BATTERIES
COMPASSES-So we can have them in the spring for training.
AEDs
It is important to do a regular check of your AEDs. This should be a visual check with the blinking light seen through the clear window. Do not remove battery to check as it wears it down faster.
If your AED is beeping or blinking red, contact your supervisor immediately. Your unit will need to have a code read to me while I am on the phone with the company. Typically it’s just a low battery, which then can be sent into the field for replacement, however that should not be assumed. You want your AED to be in good working order when you need to use it!
