Math | This week we will continue our unit on Time. This unit focuses on expanding students understanding of telling time. Students will learn to tell time to the nearest minute and measuring time in intervals. Students will use clocks and number lines to solve elapsed time problems. |
ELA | Students will work on their EOG skills this week. Students will be working on multiple meaning words as well as main idea and details. We will have our Reading NC Check In 3 on Wednesday. |
Science | This week we will begin our new Social Studies Unit - 5 Themes of Geography. We will learn about relative and absolute location and lines of latitude and longitude. |

Our class trip to Laurel Hills Park is this Friday. This trip is RAIN OR SHINE! Please keep an eye on the weather and dress your child appropriately. Think raincoats and umbrellas! Also think SUN! Students should wear closed toe shoes.
Important Reminders & Times
We will not have a spelling list this week due to our class trip and short week. We will have homework. Students should complete their reading homework each night. Students MUST highlight where they find the answers in the reading homework. The reading is labeled for each day and math homework is due on Friday. Thank you.
