What is the problem?

Health professionals are not able to make timely decisions about surgeries because data that would reveal patient complexities and appropriate next steps are buried in complex information systems

Our proposed solution

Develop a structured summary that clearly visualizes the complexities of patient health to streamline decisions on surgery regarding:

  • approach
  • place
  • team
  • determine if surgery is the best choice for the patient
