Studies have shown a considerable decline in interest in agriculture in the country. Despite the country being predominantly agriculture-based, there has been a reduction not only in the number of farm workers but also among young people who are taking higher education for agricultural studies.

Young people have pursued interest in migration and professions outside of farming.
