This is a reminder that by attending or participating in OIDF-Sponsored Activities you are subject to the OpenID Foundation policies currently in effect, including those governing code of conduct, antitrust compliance, and intellectual property rights. Reminders regarding conduct:

  • Per the OpenID Foundation Groups, Activities, & Events Code of Conduct Policy (“Code of Conduct Policy”), OIDF works to provide a safe space in which people of many different backgrounds are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. As a general matter, that Code of Conduct Policy requires that Participants should, at all times:
    • Act with integrity, honesty, and fairness.
    • Treat all individuals with dignity and respect, without regard to race, gender, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or political, business, or technical affiliation.
    • Promote open and inclusive participation and avoid behavior that could be perceived as exclusionary, harassing, or discriminatory.
    • Properly disclose and manage any actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
    • Comply with the OIDF Antitrust Policy and the OIDF Intellectual Property Rights Policy.

  • The OpenID Foundation (OIDF) Antitrust Policy, and any applicable U.S. and international antitrust and competition law, governs the conduct of all attendees and participants in all OIDF-Sponsored Activities, including meetings or events. Each attendee is responsible for knowing the contents of the OIDF Antitrust Policy and for complying with it. Attendees must not use meetings or events as a forum for anticompetitive conduct or otherwise engage in any discussions which might give rise to an allegation of violation of antitrust laws.

 

  • To govern the operation of its Working Groups, and to ensure that all OIDF Working Groups develop specifications that are freely implementable, OIDF requires that all contributors to each Working Group sign its standard form Contribution Agreement. The Contribution Agreement incorporates by reference both the OpenID Intellectual Property Rights Policy (IPR Policy) and OpenID Process Document.

 

  • To govern the operation of its Community Groups (which focus on a specific proof of concept, industry-wide problem, or technological advancement for which the members will develop one or more documents, or working concepts), and to ensure that all documents and concepts developed by OIDF Community Groups are freely distributable and usable, OIDF requires that all members of each Community Group sign its standard form Participation Agreement. This Participation Agreement includes intellectual property rights provisions and Group process provisions.
