ERASMUS

I did my erasmus in a small down near Madrid, called ‘’San Lorenzo de El Escorial’’.

I was in a school called ‘’CIM: Padre Antonio Soler’’. it’s a Centro Integrado de Mùsica, where students study the academic subjects like math and history, and also the music because it’s a conservatory.

This school is near a famous monastery, so the atmosphere was very positive and calm.

THE PLACE

The people were very friendly to us. At the beginning I was a little bit scared because of the language and the new place, but after one week I started interacting a lot with everyone. I never studied Spanish and I wasn’t interested in it, and now I can speak it well, every day I talk with my friends so i’m still practicing it. I also improved my english, so it’s a special experience to learn a new language and also to share something about your native culture.

MUSIC

I improved a lot especially in music. I had lessons with my first and second instrument, but the moment that I preferred the most was the ‘’banda’’ one. I could see a new and a different teaching method. The thing that i really liked was that there are places (cabina), where u can study academic and musical subjects, and I think it’s very useful to not waste the time when u don’t have nothing to do.

It was the most incredible experience of my life. I recommend taking this opportunity to everyone, for me it changed my life and now im still in contact with all of my friends.

I miss so much the people that I met here, for this i already went to Spain to greet everyone again.
