Family Engagement that Builds Partnership

What is a School~Parent Compact?

A Family-School Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all students get the support they need to reach and exceed grade level standards.

School Goals for

Student Achievement:

In our classrooms, the teacher will work with students and their families to support student success and academics by:

  • Providing a flexible and caring space to work.
  • Providing a rigorous, yet attainable curriculum.
  • Helping each student grow to his/her fullest potential.

Education is not limited to

the classroom.

It takes place in the kitchen,

on the corner, as you walk,

when you listen,

and in the silence.

  • Having a positive mindset for learning
  • Trying our best every day
  • Not giving up
  • Being realistic
  • Learning to set personal goals
  • Being a classroom citizen
  • Increase the percentage of students to proficient and advanced on school assessments
  • Use of data to plan
  • Build academic vocabulary
  • Meet goals for our Response to Intervention (RTI) Program to improve students’ reading and math skills school wide
