VAPC Programme
Reactor Venture Capital Scout Network program brings to me not just lessons of how a VC fund operates, but exposure to highly innovative industries, inspiring stories from founders and investors, and the chance to mingle with a community of like-minded, talented peers who are to-be VC analysts across Southeast Asia.
Also, short period of working and receiving direct training from a VC partner throughout the course was a great opportunity for me to network and get hands-on experience in a VC firm.

I would highly recommend Reactor Ventures to every entrepreneurial student! I was really fascinated by how high-quality the course is. Not only do you get to meet many like-minded individuals from across the APAC region, but you also get to interact with industry thought leaders and have the opportunity to be attached to partner VCs!

The Reactor Venture Capital Network program has been the highlight of my entrepreneurial journey. There’s something in it for everyone; this course has upskilled me in multiple aspects, as a founder, a junior analyst, a mentor, and much more.
With direct coaching from successful VC firms, meeting and working with star-studded individuals from all across Southeast Asia, and combining both theoretical and experiential learning experiences into a fast-paced, concise course, it has given me the confidence to make my mark in the realm of venture capital.

The Reactor Venture Capital Network program is a perfect course for young entrepreneurs and Investment geeks. The course consists of everything you need and covers all the process of investment in a startup.
Throughout my time as a reactor venture scout from Phase I-III, I got exposed to various startups in different industries and have been through many hands-on experiences in which the skills taught in the VC course got adopted and used in actual practice. It’s been a great experience so far!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is the Reactor Scout Network different from other student-led VC firms?
The Reactor Scout Network does not replace the integral role that student-led VCs play to develop the startup ecosystem on campus. We work with many student-led entities in the APAC region, including Protégé Ventures, NUS Angel Ventures and Rookie Fund to provide additional, complementary opportunities to their members.
The Reactor Scout Network is different in the following dimensions;-
Q: What is the career progression like for a Reactor Scout? Will Reactor guarantee internship? What happens after the 6-month commitment?
Reactor Scouts are considered voluntary trainees during the 6-month commitment and will sign a Traineeship Contract with Reactor Ventures.
Reactor will not guarantee internship placement, but support you with exclusive resource and network that could boost up your chance of successful placement. For scouts that proceed till phase II and phase III, Reactor will open internship introduction option for those who wish to land an internship.
Reactor Scouts that wish to continue beyond the 6-month commitment can apply for conversion to a part-time contract staff at Reactor Ventures, during which they will be paid an allowance.
Reactor Scouts that wish to leave at the 6-month mark will be inducted into the Reactor Alumni Network. The Reactor Alumni Network is a professional development network for students on 1 of 3 Reactor Pathways;-
Q: What is the commitment like as a Reactor Scout? What are my OKRs like as a Reactor Scout?
During Phase III: Reactor Ventures Internship, you will be reporting to your Lead Scouts, Chief Scouts and a Country Lead. Workloads may vary depending on your division.
At the start of each Functional Rotation, a Squad Leader and Deputy Leader will be nominated from your cohort.
Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) will be set by your Squad. Possible Key Results might include;-
The above list is not exhaustive, and we expect it to change based on the leadership of your Squad and the Rotation that you are in.
