One-way training aimed at mastering one field will not bring the desired result.
It is essential to combine different areas for diverse personality development. Thus, art, music, dance, sporting activity, and literature should be a fundamental part of every school’s pre-K to 12th-grade curriculum…
Why?
Let’s Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing!

Prioritizing Art and Academic Skills
Creative Writing as an Art Form:
The creative arc of a plot line and narrative voice draws a natural link between this pleasurable pastime and the artistic world. Experimental authors such as J.D. Salinger and David Mitchell are often praised for their artful blend of tenses, cursive and discursive consciousness, rich character development, and illustrative backdrops. The results from these artists are often kaleidoscopes of literary textures and tones.

Munch's The Scream is an icon of modern art, the Mona Lisa for our time. As Leonardo da Vinci evoked a Renaissance ideal of serenity and self-control, Munch defined how we see our own age - wracked with anxiety and uncertainty.

…is how to write clearly.”
Don’t be sloppy.
Create context so that all readers have the information needed to make conclusions.
Write with precision: Challenge yourself to remove as many words as possible then ask, does my story still stand?

The Girl by the Window Date: 1893
Artist: Edvard Munch Norwegian, 1863-1944
Impressionism is just that, your first impression. In the painting describe what you see. What is her story? Without any comment, interview someone else what they see. Compare and contrast both ideas in your summary.
I am usually not an art kind of person. I find myself bored because I am more of an on the go or medium/fast paced person.
In Munch‘s painting, The girl by the window I saw hurt and sorrow but my mom saw the same picture and saw hope. When she shared that with me I realized, we both saw the same painting and we both had contrasting thoughts. Now that I have looked at this picture for a while longer, I believe it is both. I believe it definitely depicts a jealous or scared heart. Nobody writes songs about staring out a window full of excitement! But it can also be hope. Hope that the the pain,
fear, sadness can and will drift away. Hope that even when she is at her worst, someone can still love her. Hope that one day she can feel that inner peace/ belonging that she desperately
desires.

My Brothers Honor
I never realized how much I loved and cared for my brother until he
left to go to the military. He joined the army last summer and is now
stationed in Texas.
He's never been missed more than anything else. I’ve recently
found out he’s getting stationed out of the country soon and as
terrifying as it is, I’m so proud of him and everything he's done for our
nation.
I made this piece honoring him and his love for serving in the
Army. I took this picture at his boot camp graduation and spent two
months painting it with coffee. Some may ask how it’s possible?
I’ve discovered if you add a little water to instant coffee it makes a
paintable paste. It’s an inexpensive way to make my creative thoughts
a reality, and put my emotions into my work.
Coffee itself always so much more than just coffee. The warmth in
your hands, the aroma that awakes the senses. It is a mood booster.
Most start to a each day and enjoy a cup with others. It feels like an
embrace. It's a low-cost way to make my creative thoughts a reality,
and for two months I poured my life and emotions into my work.
