Unit 2: Light and Sound
Students will learn about aspects of light and how to make scenes bright, medium bright, dark and completely dark. They will also learn about sound vibrations.
Unit 2: Now and Long Ago
Students will learn about many aspects of life long ago; clothing people wore, how families spent time together, and the technology that existed before cell phones and tablets. They will compare life now to then and how it is similar and different.
Into Reading: Module 4: Procedural Texts - Students will write “How To” books on topics that they know about. They will include an introduction that tells you what the reader will learn, explain the steps that go with their topic with clear directions or instructions, use words such as “first, next, then, last”, and will need to sequence their topic in order. Students will continue to edit and revise their work and will publish one piece.
