THEME & SYNOPSIS

Theme(Tarot): The Hanged Man

Synopsis: After a heated argument with her best friend B, A lets their frustration slip, “You’re the reason everything falls apart”, before walking away in anger. Hurt, B storms off. Suddenly, time begins to rewind. A, stunned, watches everything move in reverse until a mysterious tarot card, The Hanged Man, falls from the sky. A grasps the card, she’s given a chance to witness the argument again from a new perspective. Seeing the pain in B’s eyes and her own harsh expression, A realizes her mistakes. When time resumes its normal flow, A runs to stop B, apologizes sincerely.

Story breakdown

  • Story Plot 1 (Act 1 – Setup) : A and B get into an argument in a quiet room. Their emotions build up, and they start saying things they don’t mean. Their friendship feels like it’s falling apart.
  • Story Plot 2 (Inciting Incident 1) : B storms off. A, says one last angry line. Then something strange happens, time suddenly glitches, like the world is reacting to their fight.
  • Story Plot 3 (Act 2 – Entering the Shift) : Time starts moving backward. A is pulled into a strange and quiet space. Out of nowhere, a card falls from the sky. A catches it, it’s The Hanged Man tarot card.
  • Story Plot 4 (Act 2 – Midpoint) :Time freezes. A sees herself and B during the argument. She notices the look on B’s face and how angry she looked too. She starts to understand how bad things got.
  • Story Plot 5 (Act 2 – Climax) : A realizes she hurt B more than she thought. She sees how the fight grew from misunderstanding and her own mistakes. She begins to regret her words.
  • Story Plot 6 (Inciting Incident 2) : Time goes back to normal. A holds the card, now feeling different. She runs to find B, hoping it’s not too late. When she catches up, she says, “I’m sorry.”
  • Story Plot 7 (Act 3 – Resolution) : B turns around, but doesn’t say anything. A waits. The moment is quiet and heavy. We don’t know if their friendship will be fixed, but A has changed.
